I woke up this morning with a heavy heart. After my energy routine, I sat down with my breakfast looking out of the window to the beautiful tree and the blue sky. I did not turn on the music. I enjoyed being in the present moment. As I was sitting in my chair, I started “hearing” a passage from Brahm’s Requiem, I heard the choir sing, and the orchestra powerfully play:
For we have here no continuing city,
but we seek the future.
Behold, I show you a mystery:
We shall not all sleep,
but we all shall be changed
and suddenly, in a moment,
at the sound of the last trombone.
For the trombone shall sound,
and the dead shall be raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed.
Then shall be fulfilled
The word that is written:
Death is swallowed up in victory.
O Death, where is thy sting?
O Hell, where is thy victory?
If you have never listened to Brahm’s requiem, I highly recommend it. It is full of feeling, passion, eternal life, and victory over death. Just hearing it inside my head, changed my mood in an instant.
You might find that weird,… or interesting?
To me it was inspiring:
We are in the time of spring with huge forces underneath the ground waiting to bring out new life. I thought, nature doesn’t look to the past, the winter with its dead leaves, or the last year, and decides to stay put because last year wasn’t so great with all the fear and uncertainty. It also doesn’t look to the future, and whether what is about to come is safe and comfortable.
Spring brings out the beauty, the colours, the smells, the sounds… no matter the circumstances, no matter the predictions. I see it as an energy that pushes forward, that connects with life as it is, and brings new energy, courage, and determination to create the new cycle. It is like a mother giving birth to a child even though the future is unknown. Trust, love, and determination is bigger than any fear or doubt.
This is the energy that surrounds us in this time of spring.
This energy is helping you to have enough strength, courage, and determination to create your next cycle of life. Tap into that energy, surround yourself with beauty, colours, smells, sounds, etc. that inspire and energize you. Imaging/ visualize images, pictures, events that activate joy and aliveness in you.
Supporting your body and mind’s wellbeing does not need to be complicated. In fact, it is the simple things that are most effective if they are done on a continuous basis.
If you connect with the amazing spring energy during the month of April for just 5 minutes a day, you are creating a new habit that supports all your systems in your body, and brings more energy and joy into your life.
Make it a routine… every day… 5 min… turn off any distractions… connect with an image/ vision that makes you feel energetic and alive… feel it in your body… feel the sensations… lift your arms to the sky and open your heart to receive that energy… then bring your hands to your heart and put that energy right into your heart chakra.
You will be amazed what this does for you ?
Imagery/ Visualization has been shown to be highly effective in clinical trials to improve health, increase quality of life, and help people feel good.
With love,
Mona
